LOUDNESS Frontman To Release New Solo Album This Week

LOUDNESS frontman Minoru Niihara will release his new solo album, "Ashes to Glory", on February 22 in Japan via Tokuma Japan Communications. The album was produced by Niihara and Wyn Davis and features guest appearances by drummer Vinny Appice (DIO, BLACK SABBATH) and bassist Jeff Pilson (DIO, DOKKEN).

As previously reported, Crash Music Inc. has inked a deal LOUDNESS for the North American release of "Rockshocks", a collection of re-recorded versions of some of their classic songs from their early years as chosen by the fans. Originally issued in Japan in October 2004 via Tokuma Japan Comunications, the CD includes material from the "The Birthday Eve" (1981),"Devil Soldier" (1982),"Law of Devil's Land" (1983),"Disillusion" (1984) and "Thunder In the East" (1985) albums.

LOUDNESS will be doing a selected city North American tour in support of the album beginning on March 18 in Santa Ana, CA.
